From Maureen Ryan Griffin's newsletter, I found this site with a good post for those of us who write personal essays (memoir pieces).
Check out the publications recommended by Writer Abroad.

Words from a Reader
The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.
Glenda,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this information about writing essays.
I hope you did well during last week's snow. We were snowbound several days. Although the snow was lovely, it's great to see the ground again and to see sunshine.
thank you for posting this link here. I will have tt check that out. I also came by to thank you for visiting my blog and for reading my poem at the Rose and Thorn online journal :) I so appreciate your comments :)
ReplyDeleteBrenda Kay, I am tired of snow now. I want to see sunshine and be able to spend time outside again.
ReplyDeleteJanuary seems to have been a month long already.
But I am grateful I have a warm house, good friends and neighbors who pick up groceries for me and help me out when I need help.
I am fortunate.
Tabitha, Thanks for coming by. Your poem intrigued me and I had to go and meet the poet. Having watched all the Oprah shows on Australia this week, I was also curious to read more from a Aussie.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had been able to travel to Australia but it is a long way from here and I don't think I could stand the trip now.
The flooding there must be horrible, but your attitude will get you through.
