Words from a Reader

The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

Writers from Foreign Countries?

Our most popular post last week was You Can Read Us in Any Language Now. We had over 270 page views for that post alone. Does that mean we have more foreign viewers now? Our German viewers increased and we had almost as many of them as we did good old U.S. viewers.
I love to read the Stats on my blogs. I like to see what countries find us interesting. But then, I wonder how many spammers come from these countries and leave comments that have to be deleted.
I love this country! Photo taken in Canada. Lovely people there, too.

Changes Made Here

I just spent 20 minutes deleting all the Spam that has collected on this blog. I hate to make it difficult to comment here, but I have to.

Now you will have to prove you are a human being before you can leave a comment. Some bloggers ban anonymous comments, but I have some friends who don't have Google addresses and I don't want to keep them from leaving comments.

Recently I set up a website for the first time. You should be able to go there with www.glendacbeall.com, but I don't know if the search engines are finding it yet. If anyone can pull it up, please let me know what you think. It is a website for Writers Circle which is my studio in Hayesville, NC where we hold writing classes spring, summer and fall.

I still have work to do on the website, but hope to have it where I want it before long.
If you have any suggestions that would make it better, I am open to hearing them.
Contact me at nightwriter0302@yahoo.com
For now, I am returning to watching Celtic Thunder Mythology. I love these Irish guys, but I'll have to listen to Mythology for a while before I like it as well as I did the first album.

I am not writer lady anymore, but...

Tiger would like to help me
when I use the computer. Wonder if she can
solve my blogging problems. She is wise.
Blogging is still baffling to me in many ways. I need more instruction on what to do when I sign in with my preferred Yahoo address, but my blog will not let me post under that address.

This blog still prefers I sign in with my old, hacked email address, writerlady21, which I cannot even get into now.
Duh???
So, if you see anything that says to contact me with a writerlady 21 E-mail address, please ignore it. Don't write me at that e-mail address.

My new Yahoo address is nightwriter0302@yahoo.com .
I have been wondering why I lost my followers for this blog, but the peculiar way blogger is having me sign in makes me wonder if those who were subscribed left because of my past problems with it.

You are safe here so please leave comments and come back to visit when you can.

SPAM, SPAMMER, AND REJECT

We have a persistent spammer trying to get into our blogs. He signs himself Anonymous and writes in a non-English language, but the product he is trying to advertise is constantly shown on commercials on TV, and there is no doubt about that even in the spammer's comment for this blog. This is a product for men who need some help, if you know what I mean.

Every day he leaves this comment and every day I reject it. I wonder why he doesn't get the hint. He Ain't Goin' to git on here!
Maybe he will understand that English.

What do you other bloggers think about these persistent types who keep trying to fool us into thinking they really read our blogs and they really like what we have to say?
