Rocky, our rescued dog, is special to me and to all who know and love him. He travels with me as I go down to see my sisters. He stays with Gay and Stu and feels so comfortable there he isn't sure where he is supposed to live at times.
Now Rocky will appear on the Animal Rescue Site with his true story. Click on the link below to read Rocky's story.

Words from a Reader
The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.
That is a story with a happy ending, Glenda. I'm glad you have those two to love and love you back!
ReplyDeleteGlenda, I am proud to hear that Rocky's story is being published.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you that recently I heard that Sasha is to be featured on the cover of a vet's brochure. I am calling Sasha, "Cover Girl". She throws back her head and crosses her paws. There is no doubt in my mind, Sasha knows she is beautiful. I tell her every day. She understands English. This weekend Tim said, "She understands English?" I said " Of course. She learned her ABCs before she was a year old -- Ahsha Basha, Casha, Dasha.."
The photo of Sasha is on Lynn's Kudzu Kottage recent post.
Hey, I'm proud of Sasha. She is beautiful indeed. And I love the way she learned her ABCs.
ReplyDeleteYou gave me a chuckle with that one.
Yes, Joan, my pets are my babies and I enjoy them every day. In fact, I keep looking at the Designer dogs to see if I can find a small cuddly pup that doesn't shed. I see many that are part poodle, but I also don't want to have to clip and pay for grooming.
Yay-our Rocky is famous now : )Loved the article.
ReplyDeleteGlenda,
ReplyDeleteYou're so fortunate to have Rocky. Sounds like he's a wonderful dog. I also got Pepper at the animal shelter. He's been a wonderful pet and we love him. I just wish more folks would adopt animals from the shelter. I feel so sorry for stray animals. They need a loving home, too.
