Words from a Reader
The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

Horses - one of my passions

Glenda, that is one gorgeous view of the horses. I had no idea the muzzle of a young colt smelled different from an adult horse. I have a lot to learn when it comes to horses having never really been around them. This certainly makes me think I'm missing something. Great photo, Barry.

Hey Aunt Glenda, I didn't know that either about the muzzles smelling differently.I guess it can be compared to the breath of a puppy in comparison to its mom. I don't know. Just a thought. I used to love to watch the new babies as well. It was always a contest between me, capp, cc, Kaiki and casey, when he was old enough, to try and be the first one to see a newborn colt. We would get up early in the morning to be the first. One of my many fond memories of the Council farm.
