I know I'm spending too much time on the computer these days, but now that I've simplified my life, I find great pleasure in researching subjects just to satisfy my never-ending curiosity.
This afternoon, I wrote an article for the newspapers, but somehow I lost it, and now I have to do it over. But I'm not upset. Strange how peaceful I'm feeling and how happy we are these days as we concentrate on each other and Barry's health.
Priorities have a way of getting all mixed up sometimes, and then the Great Creator pops us on the head with a big stick until we are dizzy. When we can focus once again, we see things through a new window.
The new window is open and the view is beautiful.
I'm glad you're view is good!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tipper.
ReplyDeleteAs someone once told me that's "getting hit with a cosmic 2 x 4." It often takes drastic action to make me stop, look around, and realize just how much I have to be grateful for. I tend to take a lot for granted - breath, sight, hearing, being born here instead of a Third World Country... The very basics. Happens to many of us I guess.
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving your comment, Pat D.
ReplyDeleteWe have to slow down and live in the moment, I've learned.
