Words from a Reader

The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

Don't miss Donovan's popular class at Writers Circle on May 7

Saturday, May 7, 10:00 - 1:00 PM- "Getting To Know YOU"... a plausible insight to why you write, what you write, and your attraction to certain types of personalities, (characters,) through the use of the Enneagram, a proven method of typology. Instructor: Paul Donovan, writer, poet, Reiki Master and more FEES: $30.00 for three hour course

Last summer Paul Donovan's students enjoyed his class so much, they requested he come back and hold more classes this year. There is no lecture, but much discussion and good information given with free handouts.

Below read more about Paul. Paul has been writing Poetry since the early 1980s. His first publication, “Ramblings of an Idiot was produced in the mid 90s. He plans on submitting, “Escape From The Matrix,” a poetic version highlighting the perils of todays society and a glimpse at the coming “New Matrx,” in May, 2011. Many of his works have been published in several different publications and anthologies, including, “Lights in the Mountains,” which he was instrumental in its fruition. His proudest accomplishment is in initially organizing and now celebrating the “Tenth Anniversary, of the Cherokee County High School Poetry and Prose Contest,” that has brought together young writers, local businesses and the community in recognizing the writing talents of today’s youth. He is teaching classes utilizing the enneagram, (a typology he has adopted to develop true characters for writing. His classes also offer a spiritual approach to get in touch with the “innerself’ and your characters. He counts being a member of “NetWest” as being one of his best decisions.
