Happy New Year to all of you. I hope this year you fulfill your goals and accomplishments – submit for the first time, publish your first piece, publish that book you have been working on, join a writer’s group, take a writing class, read that book you have been wanting to read, start a book club, teach a class, mentor a student, learn to meditate, and begin to journal every day.

I am a reader these days, not a writer, except for my blog. What I accomplish this year is to read even more books, and good ones, I hope! :-)

I've put together a collection of short stories and a poetry chapbook that I hope to publish this year. I have another idea for a poetry chapbook that I may also write this year. I plan to blog at least once aweek, and write a new poem or short story at least once a month. I hope you have a happy New Year.

Brenda, we have had some cold weather this week and I hope you and Blanche have been warm and toasty.
ReplyDeleteI have, but my well acted up today and I was without water for awhile.
I look forward to seeing you at the Blue Ridge Writer's Conference. This is one of my favorite writing events each year. I look forward to speaking there in April.
I'm going to write my novel, one page at a time...better than keeping all those thoughts in my head, LOL! Looking forward to participating in more local writing workshops as well. Happy New Year!
