Words from a Reader

The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

Pictures of Spring at John Campbell Folk School

This old tree has looked over these mountains for many years.

I had to get down so low to take this that I hurt my knee, but I love the close up of the yellow edges.

The horses are not on the campus of JCCFS, but close by. I love horses.

The sky was like a painted backdrop for the dancing gourds in the spring breeze. The purple martins were in and out, evidently feeding young. See a bird head poking out of the gourds?

  1. Glenda, These are "winning" photos. I love that old buckeye tree outside the writing/photography studio.

  2. Nancy, I'm so glad you told me what kind of tree that is. I was going to ask if anyone knows.
