Words from a Reader

The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

Writers Circle - Where Writers Feel At Home

Today began warm and sunny in Hayesville NC and especially at Writers Circle where students arrived to take the first class in my new writing studio. Among those attending were Ash, Nadine, Ginny, Judy  and Vicki former students of mine. But also I welcomed new students including Lucy and Tipper. They dug deep and discovered some obsessions and some passions to  write about. Because we were a three hour class, we had no time for critique but hopefully each person when home with several ideas to get them started.

Tipper, Nadine, Judy, Ginny  around table. Linda in back at Writers Circle on Tuesday, April 6. The subject was Who are You and What do YOu Write?

Ash revealed his mission plan for coordinating a world wide effort to honor WWII veterans and Wayne Drumheller is on board to get Ash up to Washington to see the monument honoring all who fought in that war.

Wayne Drumheller explains digital books to Lucy, Ash, Vicki and her grandson, and Ginny at Writers Circle Tuesday.

Wayne found an enthusiastic response to his presentation of digital books using Creative Memories software. Soon we will have him back here to help those who want to get started.
