Words from a Reader

The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

April - Beginning of Spring and a busy month

My friend, Ellen, recently commented on seeing my name in newspapers, on the Netwest blog and other places quite frequently this month. If it seems  my name is out there more than usual right now, it is because I will be busy in the coming months.
Beginning April 6, my first class begins for my new project, Writers Circle. On that same day, I will be reading at the Clay County Arts Council sponsored Poetry and Art contest awards at the high school. I was asked to judge the poetry this year. This will be a full day, but I look forward to both the class and the reading.
