Words from a Reader

The “Writing Life Stories” e-mails I receive are such treasures. As soon as I see there is one in my inbox, I read it immediately. I look forward to them and never know how they will touch me. They can be interesting, informative, humorous, and/or touching.

Blogging and learning is ongoing exercise.

I've made a change to this blog with embedded comments and I hope to see if it works on this post.
Blogging on blogger.com is an ongoing learning exercise. They constantly try to find better ways to bring about the interaction we want on a blog.
With embedded comments, we hope to make it easier for our readers to leave a message.
We want to hear from you. Tell us about your thoughts on writing, genealogy, keeping our air clean, pets, or anything that strikes your fancy.
Do you like photos on this blog? Are they important to engaging you as a reader?
We learn by doing and by doing this blog, I've learned way more than I ever thought I needed to know about Internet technology. And I've learned, also, how little I know and how much more there is to learn.
Leave a comment and let's see how this works.

  1. I like this comment window better than the other way. Thanks, Blogger.

  2. I have photos on my MSN blog (http://kathrynmagendie.spaces.live.com/) along with all kinds of 'stuff' on there, so my Tender Graces blogspot I just began feels so much cleaner.

I like the look to your blog...but, experimenting is fun, too -- you can see what you like or don't like. On blogspot, the photos are smaller and less "out there" than they are on MSN, I do believe, so it's harder to see them. Of course, I may be doing things all wrong *laugh*!

    I'll be back...

  3. Glenda-blogging is truly a learning adventure!

Forgot to say-I thought your pics in the rain post were amazing!

  4. Glenda, I like the comment window. It is easier.

I hope it will get you lots of comments. They say
that is what counts with the blog.

Also, I like your blog especially when related to
writing. I think the writing part would be of interest
to writers who want to write their story but do not know
where or how to start. You are an inspiration to writers.

  5. Thanks everyone for your comments.I think I like this new comment window much better since you don't have to jump through hoops to get a comment posted. Much easier!
Nancy, I know you prefer I write about writing all the time, but this blog is about writing about my life and inspiring others to do the same. I hold classes to teach students what I know and I write on this blog to express my feelings and thoughts about all things important to me. And there are many.
I have a goodly number of readers from all over the country including Hawaii and other places in the world, but I'd love to see more comments from those readers. Now with this new comment page, I think that will happen.
Thanks again Tipper, Nancy and Kathryn.

  6. Glenda, I'm trying again to send a comment. I will do as you said and just click on publish. If it goes through, then it will be easier than the other. If not, then I have a problem.

  7. Hi Gay,
You DID it, and it was so easy, you thought you couldn't do it.
Just when you learn to comment on one way, I change it on you.
Thanks for reading and working so hard to comment. Love you.
